All about Woof Den Rescue
Live Love and Woof this is us on a dog dish Woof Den Rescue was founded in 2019 by Eliza and Myron Chili that rescues Sleddogs and Herding Breeds Such as (Alaskan Malamutes-Siberian Husky-Cattle Dogs-Shepherd and more). We are a all-volunteer non profit group committed into giving that second chances for these sleddogs and herding breeds before they get placed into their permanent home. How we came into starting our own rescue is we volunteer for many years with a rescue and as their are so many dogs in shelter and getting surrender by there owner daily we decided to start our own. Are main focus is to help,rescue-rehabilitate as many as we can handle plus educate at Adoption fairs, Outreach event and on our website to get the word out about these sweet and loving rescue dogs and finding new homes for unwanted,abused,abandoned and facing Euthanasia in Shelter.We are a small rescue located in San Juan Bautista and Modesto as we are foster base we have No facility are foster range from northern california to central california, All dog(s) have been evaluated by our staff and we describe the dog(s) temperament and behaviors to the best of our knowledge to fit you and your family. We are providing a source of information from only our perspective.All dogs in our care are Spayed and Neutered before adoption, All are up to date on Vaccinations, they are Micro Chip for identification and because they live in foster home we know a lot about them. We evaluated for temperament and trainability, Heartworm tested, NexGard flea & tick Treatment,DeWorm and we feed them a Grain Friendly diet. Also we take our own dogs and mixed them up with the foster dogs together and take them to the Beach, on hikes, walks and more. The other reason why we started dog rescue is we love knowing that each dog we rescue is going to a great family for that second chance and after you adopted one of our beautiful and smart rescue dogs you will be thankful you did.Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, fostering or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. - Service Area: Woof Den Rescue covers from the Central Valley and counties in between. We try to help shelters as far south as Santa Maria and as far north as South Lake Tahoe and some Nevada cities and counties.
- Woof Den works directly with shelters in Central Valley and City between that. In some circumstances Woof Den may take owner surrenders, but usually we work through directly with the shelter . We work closely with other Nordic and Herding breed rescues in other areas, and can refer owners in crisis to the rescue nearest them. As we cover a vast area, our ability to help rescue dogs is very dependent on having sufficient foster homes.
